BLOCK PURPOSE:
Familiarize and train on Wildland concepts common to Meridian Fire. This block is more of a resource list to assist with refreshing and learning the fundamentals of Wildland as it pertains to Meridian Fire Department. This is also a chance to Review and Comment on the new Wildland CPS’s. Thank you to all of our members who have assisted in putting these resources together.
The new CPS format is based on tool and position riding assignments intended to give continuity across all shifts. This will help all members streamline communications and give clear expectations. The CPS is formatted with a generalized first page to quickly identify tool and riding assignment expectations.
